I grew up in the Arizona desert near Cosanti, architect Paolo Soleri's home and school. It was the last few years before the sunbelt boom would explode like a realtor strapped with dynamite, splattering 5-bedroom ranchettes across the wild Sonoran Desert. I made it out just in time, but have always held a deep love of the hard edges and open skies of deserts.
Moving west, I splashed down of the edge f the Pacific Ocean and began above and below the waves. Wandering further,
